About Me

So who is this fellow whose loosely-structured collection of web pages you've stumbled across? I am a:

  • Software developer
  • Furry fan and fursuiter, and sometimes mascot volunteer
  • Geocacher
  • Where's Georger
  • Photographer, especially food photographer
  • Gas price spotter

I was born in the 70s but mostly a child of the 80s. I was born in the UK. Lived there for a few years but only went back to visit once since then. Grew up in Malaysia, which I jokingly refer to as the "old country", even though this country has only existed since 1957. In the early 90s, I moved to New York City, where I went to Columbia University SEAS until the end of 1994.

After college, I moved to Northern New Jersey and worked as a software engineer at Syncsort in their Backup Express (enterprise backup software) division until I got an involuntary termination in August 2009. Since I had no real ties to Northern New Jersey, I moved to Northern Delaware, where I bought a house and settled. I returned to work in January 2011 as a software engineer at Icetec, a small energy services firm.
